Hire a Train
Ideal for birthday parties, family events or a unique and memorable function of any kind, we offer the opportunity to hire one of our trains for your exclusive use.
Set within beautiful parkland, your guests will experience journeys around the railway behind one of our diesel or electric locomotives operated by our friendly volunteers.
Whether your party or function is railway themed, or you’re just looking for something a bit different, we are sure our trains will be hit with young and old.

Places are limited, so it is best to enquire and book early to avoid disappointment.
Private Train Hire
$200
first hour, $100 each additional hour
- Includes one diesel or electric train with up to 6 carriages
- Typically 6 departures from station per hour
- A responsible adult is required to ride in each carriage to supervise children of kindergarten age and below.
For an additional charge, there is also the option of hiring our undercover picnic area within its own siding station, ‘PIC NIC’, for your guests to board and alight their train.
